The Mandalorian season 3 will provide more importance to other characters

Even though the firing of Gina Carano from the role of Cara Dune was a colossal setback for the show, the creators don’t seem to be much concerned about the character’s absence in the third season. And despite her absence, the creators went on to emphasize the other characters, who can have the same presence as Gina Carano’s Cara Dune.

And although Dune was an integral part of Din Djarin’s journey throughout two seasons, the third one will witness Pedro Pascal’s character evolving past that. Dave Filoni went on to state,

“It’s a big galaxy and we have many characters in it, many characters are fighting for their screen time. We’ll just have to see what the adventures are as the season unfolds, but it’s a great character who was vital to Din Djarin’s beginnings; we’ll see if he has evolved beyond that.”
