Dwayne Johnson or The Rock has been a topic of public interest these past few months for incredibly unfortunate reasons. Black Adam being a box-office failure after his desperate need to be the center of attention and “selling himself to be bigger than the movie”, as well as his feud with Vin Diesel regarding the Fast and Furious series has painted the former WWE Westler in a very negative light.

It has recently been announced that The Rock will be returning for the finale of the Fast and Furious series. He will be reprising his role as Hobbs in May of this year, even though it was earlier announced that he would not be returning after Fate of the Furious. This has made fans skeptical as to what his intentions are to come back.

Is The Rock and Vin Diesel Feud Resolved?

Dywane Johnson and Vin Diesel have been at odds with each other for years in a very public feud. In late 2021, Johnson rejected the offers to return to the series, criticizing Diesel for manipulation by using emotional means.

“My little brother Dwayne… the time has come. The world awaits the finale of Fast 10. As you know, my children refer to you as Uncle Dwayne in my house,” Diesel wrote. “There is not a holiday that goes by that they and you don’t send well wishes… but the time has come. Legacy awaits.”

Despite this, The Rock remained adamant about his decision, stating that he spoke with Diesel himself and that he would be supportive of the cast but not be joining for the rest of the franchise.

It is because of this that the sudden announcement of Dwayne Johnson’s return to the franchise in Fast X has made fans vary of his intention and motivation to come back.
