You wouldn’t think remaking a classic like Ghost would be a walk in the park, but Channing Tatum‘s about to find out just how spooky things can get. The Magic Mike star’s diving headfirst into a remake of the 1990 hit, but it’s turning into a real-life horror story.

One source exclusively tells Life & Style that Tatum’s freaking out about the media circus that’s gonna come with this thing. The OG Ghost starred Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore, and Whoopi Goldberg—that’s like the Mount Rushmore of ’90s Hollywood! So, yeah, there’s a little pressure. The source revealed:

Channing’s Ghost remake is chugging along and picking up steam but nobody is fooling themselves about what a minefield this is going to be, dealing with huge, outspoken personalities like Whoopi and Demi, who are going to be asked about the film every time they’re in front of the press.

Tatum’s trying to keep things low-key, focusing on the story rather than blowing the budget on special effects. But here’s the kicker: Demi and Whoopi aren’t exactly thrilled about the whole thing. The insider went on to say that Channing will probably move forward with the remake.

He pretty much worships everything Patrick Swayze did and has largely modeled his career after him.

Tatum’s walking a tightrope here. He’s a huge fan of the original, but he’s also got to navigate the egos and expectations of Hollywood royalty. It’s a minefield, and nobody knows how this is gonna end.

Hold onto your cards, folks, ’cause Channing Tatum is shuffling back into the Marvel deck! After a killer cameo as Gambit in Deadpool & Wolverine, Tatum’s spilling the beans on wanting a full-blown solo flick.

He’s already had talks with Marvel boss Kevin Feige about bringing the Cajun card-slinging mutant back to the big screen (via Screen Rant). It’s like a dream come true for Tatum, who’s been eyeing this role for years. With a wink and a nod, he’s practically begging Marvel to make it happen, as he revealed:

I would do pretty much any version of Gambit, to be honest. I think we will, hopefully. At least I’m talking to Kevin, and I just want to be in any MCU stuff. To get to dress up again as him would be enough. I felt like [Deadpool & Wolverine] was truly a make-a-wish sort of thing that my friend did for me.

So, is this a royal flush or just a bluff? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: the internet’s on fire with fan theories and wishful thinking.
