Charithra Chandran, who’s going to play Vivi, has shared a video message for fans and Eiichiro Oda. Vivi is an important character loved by the fans of One Piece. All the arcs comprising season 2 feature her as one of the core characters, making her very crucial. Seemingly, they’ve done their job well as the mannerisms of Charithra Chandran fits the character quite well.

The excitement of the actor is backed by the confidence in her words. She’s not only beautiful but seems to embody Vivi’s cheerfulness. But this excitement will only be meaningful if the confidence translates into a great performance. After all, from Reverse Mountain to Alabasta, the character undergoes many changes. We get introduced to Nefertari Vivi as Miss Wednesday. Later we find out that she’s a strong but naive princess, willing to put everything on line for her country.

She grows closer to the Strawhats and becomes one of them. Initially unable to trust anyone, she starts relying on Luffy and the rest. Her carefree side comes to the forefront. As they reach closer to Alabasta, her desperation to save her country shakes her. She grows restless and starts taking impulsive actions. We will probably not get to see this desperate side of her just yet. But with that, Chandran has a lot on her plate as Vivi.

Chandran’s previous performances as Edwina Sharma in Bridgerton Season 2 and Sabina Pleasance in Alex Rider instill confidence, but this is her time to shine as she gets exposed to a wider audience.

Chandran won hearts with her video message and the little wink at the end. Her transformation to Vivi will be exciting to witness. Hopefully, we’ll get to see her alongside the other actors for the promotional events, before season 2 comes out. Until then, all we can do is wait while Chandran gears up for her performance.
