As fans enter a new era of Marvel movies, there is speculation that the President of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige is planning to assemble the original Avengers once again for a movie. While many may expect Chris Evans to return as Captain America / Steve Rogers, there are also rumors about his return to the franchise as Johnny Storm / Human Torch. The actor played the role in the 2005 film Fantastic Four and reprised the role for the film’s 2007 sequel, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. With Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, Marvel Studios has already made plans for its Fantastic Four movie which will be released in 2025 as part of Phase Six of the MCU.

The same internet scooper confirmed earlier this week that Robert Downey Jr. has agreed to return to the franchise, however, not much is known at the moment as all these are just rumors. With constant retconning of its own timelines and character stories in the comics, Marvel Studios won’t have a problem implementing this in the MCU.

Reports have suggested that Marvel is planning to bring back its original Avengers for a movie. With actor Jonathon Majors’ public controversy, things are looking bad for Marvel and to tackle this situation, they must act quickly. For now, fans can enjoy the sequel of Captain Marvel (2019), The Marvels, which is scheduled to be released in the United States on November 10, 2023.
