Fans had been dying to see Chris Pratt back in action. And they got their chance – in a Super Bowl ad. Much to their elation, the 44-year old star made an appearance in a Super Bowl ad, featuring as Mr. Pringles in a piece for the fabled company.

It was an unusual role for the star, but not one that he disliked. In an interview he did in the aftermath of getting cast as Mr. P, he revealed that he couldn’t have felt more delighted. Rumors that Travis Kelce was donning the hat originally didn’t bother him when the opportunity came calling. He said,

“I was flattered and I thought it was pretty awesome.” (YouTube)

Fans don’t disagree. That doesn’t mean it came easy. The role came with it’s fair share of work. Revealing everything that went behind the stage, he said,

“It was a lot of moustache work, a lot of internal moustache work – oiling the stache, figuring out how to make it curled just right on the ends.”

The hard work was worth the effort though.
