The reliable insider stated, that Avengers 5 is going to start production next year, that is early 2025, and it is most likely to be directed by someone, who has never directed “a Marvel movie before.”
He said,
“Avengers is going to start shooting early next year and that it’ll, it will likely be someone who has not directed a Marvel movie before. Avengers could be bringing somebody in brand brand new to start next year. Um, this is like my little Marvel update.”
The scoop sent shockwaves around the internet, and fans are thrilled to know that Marvel is actively making efforts to bring back their fans with a new director. However, fans have been joking around the internet as they believe it will be Christopher Nolan, or directors like Quentin Tarantino or Steven Spielberg, who is going to direct the upcoming Avengers project.

Nevertheless, it is too early to take names as there have been no official announcements regarding the film, and before they decide on their director, Marvel needs to hire a worthy replacement for Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, which is now only titled as Avengers 5 until further notice, is set to release in theatres on 1st May, 2026.
