Kirsten Dunst Finds Herself In War-Torn America In A24’s Civil War

The trailer opened with dramatic scenes of destruction in the United States, with reporters narrating the civil war in the background. Nick Offerman, who portrays the US president, said in the video:

Citizens of America, the so-called Western forces of Texas and California have suffered a very great defeat at the hands of the United States military.”

Kirsten Dunst, who plays a journalist, reflects on the events as she tries to reach Washington. She said in the clip:

Every time I survived a war zone, I thought I was sending a warning home: don’t do this.”

Civil War is written and directed by Alex Garland; Gregory Goodman and DNA’s Andrew Macdonald and Allon Reich team up with A24 to produce the project.
