COD: Black Ops 6‘s release is inching closer, and Activision has been teasing in-game content for a few months. We did get to see the gameplay footage during the Xbox Showcase 2024, and now it seems that more inside details have surfaced.
Zombies mode is always a main attraction of any Call of Duty game, and it seems Treyarch is taking it up a notch with Black Ops 6. It has already been confirmed that Edward Richtofen is making a comeback, voiced by fan-favorite Nolan, but fans are now demanding that Steve Blum be brought back as Dempsey.
Will Dempsey Return With Richtofen in the Next COD?
Black Ops 6 is set to bring new features to the Call of Duty series that we’ve never seen before. Treyarch is upping the ante with the introduction of the Omnimovement feature, which will allow players to move while in the middle of combat seamlessly.
Recently, Activision confirmed that Edward Richtofen will be playable in the Zombies mode, which has been a pleasant surprise for many. This is because the character, which previously appeared in multiple Call of Duty Zombies modes, is voiced by Nolan North, who is a massive fan favorite.
Vell, you leetle schtinker! Velcome beck!

Of course, this led to many fans demanding the addition of Steve Blum as well. For those unaware, Steve Blum is the voice actor behind the character Corporal “Tank” Dempsey. Much like Nolan North, he is loved by fans, and Dempsey returning to the series will be the cherry on top.
Please come back too I’m begging

It would be interesting to see if Treyarch acts upon these demands. If the developers are bringing back Edward Richtofen, it would make sense to add Dempsey as well. Furthermore, this would be an excellent move from a marketing point of view.
New Features Coming to Zombies
It’s not only the characters that are the star of Zombies mode in Black Ops 6. As mentioned before, new features are coming and it’s going to change how we play Zombies mode.
To begin with, a “save and quit” feature is coming to the game, which works exactly as it’s worded. Players will be able to quit the game and save it from the pause menu so it can be resumed later.
However, this feature will only be available for solo play. The Gobble Gum feature is also making a return, which we last saw in Black Ops 3.
You will be able to cash out for gums using credit earned in the game, and depending upon the rarity of gum you get, it will provide different benefits.
What are your thoughts on Nolan North and his voiced character, Edward Richtofen, returning in Black Ops 6? Do you want to see Dempsey and Steve Blum return as well? Let us know in the comments below.
