The protagonist of Masashi Kishimoto’s magnum opus Naruto was one of the best shinobi the Narutoverse had ever seen. His determination and constant growth to achieve his dream of becoming the Hokage were one of the main reasons why he never lost hope even in tough times. Another reason was his love for ramen and the place he ate it.

The ramen was sold by a businessman called Teuchi or as Naruto fans know him “The Ramen Guy”. While he was not too important to the story, he held much importance in the life of Naruto, as he was seen advising him and helping him with food whenever Naruto was hopeless or hungry. Other than that, he never had any major role to state his importance in the story.

However, a trend has been started by fans about the secret behind the Ramen guy. People have been trying to create theories around the character about how he could be a hidden important character in the story. One such theory claims that the Ramen Guy is actually an Uchiha and there are three evidences that prove this theory.

1. Ramen Guy Was Seen in A Uchiha Group Picture

The theory was presented by @Anymei on YouTube. The first piece of evidence that supports the theory about the Ramen Guy being a Uchiha is a group picture that was seen in Naruto manga. This group picture features a lot of Uchiha clan members including the head of the Uchiha clan and the father of Sasuke and Itachi Uchiha. Along with him their mother and Itachi can also be seen in the photo.

However, the interesting individual in the image is a person who is standing in the corner of the picture. He looks exactly like the Ramen Guy as their facial features match with each other. Also, as Naruto fans may know the Uchiha clan was very constricted, they usually don’t allow other people in their clan, thus confirming him being an Uchiha member.

2. Ramen Guy Was Investigating About Shisui Uchiha

Another piece of evidence that was given regarding the theory about the Ramen Guy being a Uchiha is related to Shisui Uchiha’s death. In one of the manga panels after Shisui’s death, a character was seen investigating his death from Itachi Uchiha. The character looks exactly like the Ramen Guy, except that he has white hair.

This has led to the assumption that the Ramen Guy was a shinobi who belonged to the Uchiha clan. However, the white hair contradicts the theory. Also, if he had this kind of role in the Uchiha clan, he wouldn’t have gone unnoticed by the fans.

3. Ramen Guy Always Had His Eyes Closed

The last piece of evidence that proves this theory is the Ramen Guy’s eyes. In the Naruto anime and the manga, the Ramen Guy always has his eyes closed every time he makes an appearance in the series. The theory states that because the Ramen Guy used Isanagi twice which is why he lost both his eyes.

He could have used Isanagi during the Uchiha massacre which would have led to him losing his eyes. This also hints at him being a Uchiha clan member. Although all these evidences point out Ramen Guy’s connection with the Uchiha Clan, it is highly unlikely that he was a Uchiha.
