It has been a rough time for PC players as they have been getting to grips with Counter Strike 2 and the many changes that have come to the popular franchise. One of these players is a rather famous Soccer player from Brazil.

This player in question is a Soccer/PC gamer called Neymar Júnior, who is currently a part of the national team of Brazil and Paris Saint-Germain while also enjoying some Counter Strike 2 on his time off, but according to a recent Instagram story, he may not be as good of a shot as he is on the pitch.

It has been a few months since Counter Strike 2 was released, and since then it has had a rather rough time creating a name for itself as gamers haven’t been a fan of the many changes that came with this new iteration of the franchise.

One of these players is soccer player Neymar, as they recently shared a video on Instagram, which was then re-shared on Twitter/X by a user called Ozzny, explaining that during the clip, Neymar attempted to take out an opponent but sadly missed, which led to the video being posted.

Along with this video, Neymar also included the caption “CS is broken, look at this… there is no way” describing how it isn’t their fault they missed the shot. Sadly, the gaming community isn’t all on their side in this situation.

At the moment, players are still discussing whether or not this was the fault of Neymar or of CS2 itself, as there have been a lot of theories as to what has happened to cause this issue. Some players believe that Neymar just missed, and that’s the end of it, whereas others believe hitboxes are in the wrong.

According to one player known as zipeL, accompanied by a screenshot, they comment by saying that the “mf missed” showing that Neymar was only a frame away from the target when they took the shot, which is what led to the unfortunate missed shot.

Another commentor has come to the aid of Neymar by saying that the game hitboxes are at fault here. This comment comes from user @L4ziik, which is also accompanied by a screenshot, as they claim that the frame before Neymar shot actually shows the reticle over the enemy’s elbow, arguing that the hotboxes were too small for the character’s model.

Both of these arguments are very valid, and unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to decide which argument is correct unless Valve responds to the complaint. Leaving many to wonder whether or not this was Neymar’s skills failing him or if CS2 failed him with poor designs.

What do you think about Neymar’s unfortunate missed shot in Counter Strike 2? Do you think it was an accurate shot, or do you think it was a clear miss? Let us know in the comments what you think!
