Larian Studios’ Baldur’s Gate 3 has finally arrived on PlayStation 5 after its massive launch on PC. The game has been praised for the amazing freedom it gives players, from building unique characters to traveling wherever they please and more, resulting in players unleashing their creativity and pushing the limits of the game.

The developers have been enjoying this and have also brought new updates from time to time to make the game more flexible and interactive. To mark the game’s launch on PlayStation, the official PlayStation account shared a video of a Baldur’s Gate 3 bowling game, and it’s all players want right now.

PlayStation shared a video coined ‘Bowler’s Gate’ on their X account. It is a functioning bowling minigame and makes the best use of the game’s mechanics. But there are no bowling pins and balls, so they had to work something out with barrels and goblins.

In the video, Astarian, Shadowheart, and others play ten-pin bowling with barrels by throwing an enemy NPC. There is also uncertainty as to how many barrels will be broken with each throw, making it more exciting. The game also keeps score with Lae’zel winning, and although Shadowheart scored 10 points, she cheated.

Baldur’s Gate 3 players, if interested, can easily play this game by carrying and placing ten barrels or ‘pins’ and giving it a try. However, that would be a lot of work considering that players will need to reset it every time. But if the developers were to bring this bowling minigame, there’s nothing players would like more.

Although this Bowling minigame using barrels in Baldur’s Gate 3 is quite innovative, there have been instances when players have used barrels in several other creative ways. YouTuber Okoii posted a video on their X account last month where they blew up Goblin camp using barrels and cleared out goblin temple in Act 1.

The halfling fills the camp with barrels while being completely shirtless and then uses a bottle of Alchemist’s Fire to explode barrels, giving shape to a perfectly set carnage to the point where it looks like theater with a touch of classical music in the background. The fire soon erupted all over the camp, with all the barrels exploding almost at once.

Players have been gathering goblins at one place, which they can then fill up with explosive barrels and then blow up to clear the area almost instantly. This is just one such instance of players using barrels and other features that Baldur’s Gate 3 has to provide an immersive gaming experience.
