Marvel’s Ant-Man 3 Receives Disappointing Reviews From Critics

Meanwhile, the much-anticipated Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania from Marvel Studios is already receiving mixed reviews from critics and fans. Almost everyone agrees that Majors delivered his villain role with much confidence, and he has proved that Kang the Conqueror is indeed a force to be reckoned with.

The critics’ reception towards Ant-Man 3 proved less impressive, often noting the underdeveloped plot and Majors’ character not being fleshed out to reveal his true motives. The number of interweaving stories among Marvel films has become so incredible that every installment seemed like an introduction for the next film.

Brandon Zachary of CBR noted that Ant-Man 3 was “a fun ride at times and by no means the worst MCU film,” while Jon Negroni of InBetweenDrafts said, “If only they had just focused on making an Ant-Man movie. Not a redux of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.” Most critic reviews seem disappointed with Marvel’s take on the third Ant-Man film.

Despite the mixed reviews, fans are still encouraged to see the film and meet the next big bad of the MCU. Ant-Man 3 stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Kathryn Newton, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Randall Park, and Bill Murray.

Creed III will arrive in theatres on March 3, 2023.
