Cyberpunk 2077 FINALLY Introduces Fan-Requested Feature

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to get its highly awaited Phantom Liberty DLC on September 26th and Update 2.0 on 21st September. The 2.0 Update will bring exciting new gameplay improvements, new features as well as QoL updates. The Update 2.0 was announced at the Gamescom 2023 ONL and CD Projekt RED is going all out to overcome the underwhelming release of the game that had severe technical issues upon launch a few years ago.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will add a new storyline and characters with side quests, alongside a new district called Dogtown. While all these are coming with the DLC, there are several other upgrades and features set to come to the base game with Update 2.0. Although there are numerous reasons for fans to rejoice, a much-requested feature is also landing in the game.

“So with the 2.0 update, you can finally now change your scars and tattoos at Ripperdocs”

Players on the Subreddit expressed their views on this feature. A user said that are hoping that the update brings some new tattoos. Redditor SSJ3CalCal added, “I always found it weird that in a world where you can mod every part of your body, you can’t change tattoos. I’m glad they’re putting it in now. I hope they add in more because the choices are sorely lacking at the moment.”

Redditor ezbyEVL wrote, “That’s super cool, I really like immersion, and being able to do this (which felt deal-breaking when I had to do it with a character editor before), is a welcomed change. If this game gets the world to be a little more alive (more pedestrians, traffic, and more types of people/crowds) it might get multiple times better for fairly contained development.”

While this is just one feature, Update 2.0 will bring several other features and upgrades, there is so much in store for Cyberpunk 2077 players.
