The Dark Tower was a sore letdown for one and all. The faithful of the series could not channel an ounce of their devotion to the movie, which was plagued by a plethora of problems behind the screen. Reports claim that after a run of poor test screenings, Sony had no option but to spend $6 million on re-shoots in order to breathe some life into the film. At the center of all these problems, stood Matthew McConaughey and Idris Elba, who were themselves a victim of shoddy management.
