It is quite easy to see how Radcliffe gained his fortune through his numerous movie deals and popularity among fans, but what’s more interesting is that he managed to double this wealth even when he was not making any films.

Where Does Daniel Radcliffe Get All Of His Fortune?

Apart from his acting career, Daniel Radcliffe has a lucrative side hustle that brings him even more money than the entertainment industry. In fact, this business reportedly earned $25,000 a day in 2022.

The 34-year-old actor amassed a staggering $112 million from his role in Harry Potter, but that was already more than a decade ago. As per Daily Mail, Radcliffe had $11 million in the bank in 2022, but it increased twice to an impressive $20.1 million the following year.

His company Gilmore Jacobs, which is run by the actor and his parents, generated this massive fortune through several investments, including a property estimated at $4.27 million. In 2022, the firm also paid corporation tax of $572,000 which hints that the actor’s business churns a profit of roughly $2.5 million.

Despite the success of Radcliffe’s firm, it still experienced a flux in the global market. At one point, the accounts saw its assets fall by $3.15 million in March 2023. The Swiss Army Man star’s fortune plummeted from $115 million to $112 million.

For his Harry Potter films, Radcliffe took home a cheque of $1 million for The Sorcerer’s Stone and a tidy sum of $50 million for the two final installments.

Apart from his company and acting profession, the Guns Akimbo actor also starred in several Broadway shows. Some of his notable appearances are in The Cripple of Inishmaan (2014) and Stephen Sondheim’s musical Merrily We Roll Along (2023). His West End performances, on the other hand, include Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (2017) and Samuel Becket’s Endgame (2020).

The latest update on Daniel Radcliffe’s movie career is his much-speculated appearance as Wolverine. The actor was last seen looking all buff and strong which gave the fans a hint that he might be playing a variant of the clawed mutant in MCU’s Deadpool & Wolverine. However, he debunked this rumor in his interview with Vanity Fair:

I got buff because I am obsessive, and I want to… you’ve seen my parents, they’re like insane fitness people. So that’s just been passed on… but no, no Wolverine. Flattered, but no.”

Only Radcliffe and the Marvel Studios team know if he is actually telling the truth because so far, there have been instances when actors deny their cameo roles in movies to avoid spoiling the surprise. Until Deadpool & Wolverine hits theaters on July 26, 2024 – fans can only assume.
