The production of Daredevil: Born Again is in full swing, leading to the emergence of new theories around how the Charlie Cox starrer television series would be shaped. Many fans have continued to wonder just how strong the connection would be between the reboot and Season 3 of the original Netflix series, Daredevil.
In October of 2023, a report came to the fore and shed light on the showrunners’ initial plans. It claimed that the reboot would’ve shown Matt Murdock stop being Daredevil for a year after he failed to save Foggy Nelson and Karen Page. However, the brains behind the idea were fired as Season 1 of the new show wasn’t similar to the original series. Now, set photos of the new show have given rise to another interesting theory.
How Marvel Might Surprise Daredevil: Born Again Fans
The news of the total reset of Daredevil: Born Again‘s creative time naturally excited fans. This was because it opened doors for Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) and Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson) to join hands with Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) and form the much-loved trio and partners in justice.
Set photos from X user @WingFinn48 show the street-side board of Nelson, Murdock, and Page, the law firm founded by the trio. The idea of all three characters reuniting has raised the excitement among the fanbase through the roof.

However, if a new fan theory (via X/@CharlesMurphy) is to be given any importance, the excitement wouldn’t last long after the start of the series, which is scheduled to premiere in 2025. It states that Woll will only be back for a few episodes before being killed. The supposed idea behind the short stint is that her death on screen would be more traumatizing for fans than her being killed off-screen.
Hypothetically, this would then also give Daredevil more layered reasons to takedown Muse, the man behind Karen’s death.
Who Is Muse – The Supposed Daredevil: Born Again Villain?
Muse was a sociopathic serial killer from Marvel comics, who crossed paths with both Daredevil and Blindspot. The antagonist used to transform his victims’ blood and gore into large murals as he believed he was giving them purpose through art.
How the new creative team at Marvel would fit the deranged killer in Daredevil: Born Again remains unknown. However, the aforementioned set of photos underlines he’s part of the show in some capacity. The photos showed a street art of Kingpin signed by Muse.
Recently concluded Echo teased the MCU fans by revealing Kingpin’s desire to run for New York City Mayor.
