GTA 6 was announced way back in 2022 by Rockstar. The latest installment in the series was first released in 2013 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Then the game was remastered in 2015, finally getting a PC port, as well as ports for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
This means that it has been ten years since a new GTA game has been released. There has been tonnes of conjecture regarding GTA 6. Some of them have been hoaxes, but some leaks seem very profound.
The leaks, which happened in 2022, were initially met with a lot of skepticism, but Rockstar acknowledged that there was indeed a security breach in their system. This made the leaks regarding GTA 6 more plausible than ever.
We already know, as per the leaks so far, that the game will feature two protagonists. They will be inspired by Bonnie and Clyde. They are allegedly named Jason and Lucia. Recently, as per a Reddit post, a user analyzed the most notable features coming to the game as suggested by the leaks.
There are also some famous insiders who are data miners, like the famous Tez2, who seems to be a source of unconfirmed speculation for GTA 6.
GTA 6 Leaks: Features Which Genuinely Feel Next-Gen in the Truest Sense of the Term
In a Reddit post, a user with the handle u/vaspinbreak1 shared some features that were not talked about enough but were still exciting prospects if implemented. We reinstate that these are still leaks that haven’t been confirmed in the slightest by Rockstar Games.
Readers are advised to take these with a pinch of salt. Some of the more next-gen features are present, like the more in-depth customization options. The leak sees Jason with different hairstyles as well as body structures.
Keen members also observed some patents relating to the game. This includes a whole new animation system, which will apparently have a “library of small building blocks for character movements“. This will result in more nuanced animations resulting from the combination of these blocks.
This also suggests that more dynamic animations will be seen in GTA 6. The fluid mechanics will also see an overhaul, which means that fluids in the game will react more realistically. There is also a Virtual Navigation System, which means that NPCs will now have locations to go to. This means that the traffic density and NPC vehicle movement will be refined in the game.
The perspiration and fatigue mechanics also seem to be improved compared to the previous title.
The items present in stores like Grocery Stores seem to be rendered well and feature collisions unique to them. This could mean that one can inspect items in a Grocery Store akin to Read Dead Redemption 2. The post also suggests that though all these technologies and patents are cutting-edge, they are being designed not to affect performance.
GTA 6 Leaks: Other Interesting Features Showcased About the Game
As per the post, the leaks hinted at the return of trucking missions from Grand Theft Auto San Andreas. This was seen by the leaked footage having a truck-shaped icon on the minimap.
The map of the game also has tonnes of points of interest, which hint that the number of activities in the world will increase significantly. Another exciting mechanic in the leaks was the newly added money laundering system.
There also seem to be various combat styles in the leaks for GTA 6. Sports also seem to be expanded upon in GTA 6. The sports archetype also suggests that sports can be expanded upon in the title.
There also seems to be a Rockstar Content Editor, which is different from the conventional Rockstar Editor, which was used in the leaked footage to showcase mission, interaction, and property archetypes. This could be related to the brand-new money laundering system.
Cheats in the game also return, as per the leaks. With all these leaks surrounding the game, it seems like Rockstar plans on doing justice to the time it is taking with the game. The new technologies and patents seem like we are in for a visual delight like every Rockstar Game.
Since there is no announcement from Rockstar regarding the leaks or the release date, no trailers or teasers have been put out by the company as well. Fans are still waiting for a glimpse of GTA 6.
