In an interview with BBC Radio 1, actor David Harbour was asked to reveal that one line that his fans quote all the time when he runs into them. The actor explained that the line is like his version of De Niro’s iconic line from 1976’s Taxi Driver,

“Well, I mean the one thing, the one quote that will haunt me, it is like my De Niro, like, ‘You talking to me?’ It’s that one, ‘Mornings are for coffee and contemplation.’ The amount of people who say that to me, want me to say it, blah blah blah. God bless! Them and that line.”

The line comes from Harbour’s character, Chief Jim Hopper, in the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. In 2018, he was nominated for an Emmy Award in the Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category for his work in the show but lost to Peter Dinklage.
