Marvel Fans Mercilessly Troll James Gunn And DC

Ryan Reynolds took to social media platforms to unveil the initial glimpse, showcasing Deadpool and Wolverine standing together in the shared image. Derived from the highly anticipated Deadpool 3, what stands out the most in this still is Jackman fully adorned in the beloved yellow and blue Wolverine attire, a sight that fans have eagerly awaited, yearning for him to once again inhabit that iconic costume.

The observant fans wasted no time in noting the X-Men series’ inclusion of every surviving Fox actor as a farewell gesture, while Sony successfully revived all the Spider-Man iterations, and Disney is actively developing sequels for Alita. In contrast, the DC universe has struggled to conclude a Superman franchise without resorting to reboots.

Marvel Studios has enlisted the talented duo of Wendy Molyneux and Lizzie Molyneux-Loeglin as the screenwriters for Deadpool 3, with the accomplished Shawn Levy set to helm the project. Following Disney’s acquisition of Fox, the future of the franchise seemed uncertain, as the previous two films had been produced under Fox’s banner. However, it is now official that Deadpool has transitioned into a Marvel Studios property.

While the specifics of the Superman: Legacy storyline are being kept under wraps, James Gunn has offered a glimpse into his approach. In response to a comment on his Instagram page, Gunn disclosed that the film would steer clear of exploring Clark Kent’s upbringing in Smallville. This departure from the conventional narrative suggests a deviation from Superman’s traditional origins, including his birth on Krypton and subsequent arrival in Kansas.
