The heroes of DC Comics had no counter to the power of the Yellow Lanterns. It was only when Kyle Rayner and Hal Jordan fought Sinestro without any of their rings that the tables turned. Without Sinestro’s leadership, the Sinestro Corps was easily pushed back and defeated.

We would all agree to the fact that Crisis on Infinite Earths may be the greatest DC Comics storyline ever written. The Anti-Monitor, an evil cosmic entity, set events into motion which he had been planning since eons. Not even the Spectre was able to hold him off. The fact that the heroes of DC Comics were not only able to hold the Anti-Monitor off but also defeat him in the process is an absolutely formidable feat.
