Injustice 3 is all but inevitable. The game will probably be announced in the upcoming DC Fandome event. And when the game does arrive, there are some heroes we would like to come back/make their debut.

Plastic Man

When a superhero is respected by even the Batman, you know there is potential in him. Plastic Man, for all his whims and fancies, is a very formidable superhero. He can alter his body density, turning it as hard as steel or as malleable as rubber. The power to stretch beyond human comprehension provides Plastic Man with the ability to infiltrate some of the most secure facilities in the world. He has gotten into facilities like the Fortress of Solitude and even the lair of the League of Shadows. In the comic books, he had been a valuable asset for Batman. He should be a part of Injustice 3 at all costs.

Captain Atom

Captain Atom has the power of a dozen nuclear bombs residing within his body. His body is literally made up of pure energy. In the comic book, he aids Batman and the Insurgency in their fight against the Regime. His powers include the ability to absorb and manipulate seemingly an infinite amount of energy. He can use them to dampen others powers, release beams of nuclear energy and as a last resort, could detonate him-self with the explosion powerful enough to destroy the whole planet. In Injustice, Captain Atom dies at the hands of Wonder Woman when she pierces her sword into his chest. Another ability of Captain Atom is the power to travel back and forth in time depending on the amount of energy he absorbs.

Midnighter

Midnighter is basically Batman with a lot of lust for bloodbath and mayhem. He is a violent character who will not back down from getting his hands dirty to defeat his opponent. His mind is a battle super computer. He can look at an opponent and figure every possible way the fight might go, devising a contingency for every possibility. Since Injustice 3 will follow the same Mortal Kombat style of game play, Midnighter should be included in the game. Just imagine him ripping the jaw bone out of his enemies’ face because he feels like it. Doing things like that may be inhuman for us but for Midnighter, it’s Tuesday.

Booster Gold

Booster Gold hails from the far future. Working as a Janitor in the Metropolis Space Museum, Booster Gold gets fascinated by the ancient Age of Superheroes, steals some technology from the same museum and travels back in time. He then masquerades as a new superhero. Starting out as a self-centered chap, Booster later becomes an honorable bloke worth his salt as a crime fighter after learning some valuable lessons in humility. The character debuted back in 1986. Considering his light-hearted nature and quick witty one-liners, Booster should have been a hit if he had been included in the previous Injustice installment.  With a Booster Gold movie in the potential pipeline, there is much to gain by including him in the game.

Gizmo

Gizmo is a lesser known super villain from Cyborg’s Rogues Gallery. A career inventor and criminal, Gizmo relies on creating inventions that help him have his way around the world. In the comic book arc, Gizmo has a very tragic story line. When the Regime began, Gizmo was betrayed by Mammoth and was tortured. He managed to escape and joined the Insurgency led by Batman to make Superman and his pals pay for their crimes. After Superman’s defeat, the Regime fell and Gizmo started the new Hive Five with Terra and Damian Wayne as its founding members. Gizmo would make for a very good playable fighter with some unique attack combinations. His ability to use anything to create a weapon will come in extremely handy.

Bizarro

The reason Bizarro was dropped from the entire Injustice franchise was because his powers were too similar to Superman’s. We do not believe that for even a second. The developers were just lazy to come up with moves for Bizarro. His powers literally are the polar opposite of Superman’s. He is clumsy, annoying, and ridiculously childlike. In the comic book arc, Bizarro dies early on. But he should be brought back for Injustice 3.  Bizarro would have some really comic comebacks. Why haven’t they included him in the game already?!?!?

Beast Boy

In the comic book series, Beast Boy was one of the earliest casualties. After Joker’s nuclear bomb detonated, Superboy tried and failed to shield Beast Boy from the heat and radiation. In the game series, the rest of the titans appear as playable characters. There is Starfire, Robin, Cyborg, and Raven. Beast Boy is still absent. This is the comic book universe guys. It should not be that hard to bring someone back from the dead. Beast Boy’s animal morphing abilities would make for a very good playable fighter. Imagine Beast Boy turning into a huge snake and wrapping himself around the Flash to stop him from running. He could become a T-Rex and chew his way to victory.

Alfred

Alright Alfred does not necessarily scream power at first glance. A guy in a butler suit generally does not. But mind you Alfred has taken out Superman in the Injustice Comic Book Series. Lex Luthor created a batch of super durability pills that can give mortal beings like Batman and Green Arrow the power to fight beings like Superman and Wonder Woman on equal footing. Alfred even has some military experience. He served as a field medic in the British Armed Forces. After that, he became a very famous undercover operative for the MI-5. Including Alfred will also be a great way to advertise Pennyworth, the new series being launched based on the exploits of the Bat Butler. Injustice is a great marketing vehicle. Moreover it would be interesting to see Alfred’s moves.
