In Wonder Woman #5’s World’s Finest: Part 3 via Screenrant, Wonder Woman’s daughter, Trinity talks about significant events with Superman and Batman that are yet to be seen in the modern-day DCU. One such event is Joker Corps. Given that Trinity has only appeared in the stories that are set in the future, they are very much a hint towards what can be expected in the future of DC Universe.

While corps basically refers to any organization, DC fans can instantly connect with Green Lantern Corps when the word comes to mind. The corps currently has 7204 Green Lantern members with each owning a power ring that grants the use of incredible abilities through their own willpower. While Joker can’t get his hands on the Green Lantern power ring, it is quite a possibility that he may get a Sinestro Corps Power Ring, given that he truly is a force of chaos and mass destruction.

While Joker iterations have always added a sinister element to the DC Universe, Heath Ledger‘s portrayal remains one of the best due to its psychotic level. The late actor took the character on a completely new level by portraying how smart yet intimidating it can be which was creepy for sure.

In the previous portrayals, the Prince of Crime never seemed to be a great threat to the Caped Crusader as one barely saw the duo engaging in an intense fight however, in Christian Bale’s The Dark Knight, Joker proved to be a great threat who was on par with Batman.

From facing the protagonist in a physical fight to using knives differently, he showcased the true menace of what a villain he can be. While Joker in comics was a straight-on madman, Ledger’s character incorporated the traits yet evolved to become one of the best due to his intelligence presenting a real tension on-screen. Hence, upgrading the character would surely bring a new level of threat to the DC Universe, making the actor proud.
