Currently, the DC TV Universe is in the midst of its biggest crossover yet with Crisis on Infinite Earths. Not only does the event combine almost every DC property in Movie and TV history, but it also serves as a catalyst for the end of the Arrowverse’s pioneer series Arrow with two more episodes remaining after the crossover before the end of the series after eight seasons.

However, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Black Lightning and Batwoman have all been granted another season by the TV network and thus remain to keep the Arrowverse alive.

The news comes along with other show renewals by the network. The news will also come as a comfort to fans of Batwoman especially as the divisive series has survived its first season and lives to survive for another season.

As well as Batwoman’s renewal, The Flash has been given the greenlight for a seventh season despite the current crossover denoting the fact that Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen was supposed to die therefore the mantle of The Flash potentially being passed on. Regardless, with Arrow ending this season, The Flash is now the longest-running series within the Arrowverse.

Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow will also get a sixth season each despite the latter series having yet to begin its fifth season until Crisis on Infinite Earths concludes next week.
