This is a much sooner date than initially expected, but it is welcome news. The service will  have plenty of things for fans to do when it launches. There will be plenty of shows to watch such as Young Justice, Wonder Woman ’77 in HD, and Justice League: The Animated Series. If they’re bored with that then they can head on over to the comics section and read some classic comics like Detective Comics, Action Comics, and Batman or interact with their fellow fans on the DC Universe forums or the interactive encyclopedia that discusses a lot of the DC lore.

In celebration of the countdown to launch DC Entertainment has offered “The Ultimate Batman Studio Tour Sweepstakes” to its subscribers. One fan will have the opportunity to visit Warner Bros., take the fancy WB Studio Tour, visit DC headquarters, ride in the Batmobile, and walk away with a crazy cool prize package because apparently all of that isn’t enough. All fans who pre-order by Wednesday, September 12 (5:59 a.m. PT) will be entered for a chance to win. To learn more, visit www.dcuniverse.com.
