The gaming world was caught off guard when Capcom suddenly announced Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster earlier this week. The game will be a fresh, remake of the original Dead Rising that was released on Xbox 360 in 2006. It has been confirmed that the game will run in 4K 60fps on the RE Engine.

Everything was great until Capcom announced the pre-order bonuses for the game and every fan of the original game was left disappointed. It has been revealed that the original Frank West outfit from the 2006 game will be included in the pre-order bonus, something that should be in the game by default.

The official Dead Rising account on X has revealed the pre-order bonuses for Capcom’s upcoming game, Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster. One of the pre-order bonuses is a costume for Frank West from Dead Rising (2006). Fans quickly responded to it claiming that this isn’t something that should be a pre-order bonus.

Along with the costume, players will also get the Dreams of Yore (Mall Music 2 arranged) background music. The other two pre-order bonuses are: Chuck Greene costume and Super Shopper background music from Dead Rising 2, and Willamette Parkview Mall Bee costume and Happy Flight! background music (Mall Music 6 arranged).

2006’s Dead Rising was a massive success and laid down the foundation of the Dead Rising franchise. After the poor reception of the 4th game in 2016, the next game in the series was canceled. The announcement of the remastered version wasn’t exactly unexpected as Capcom conducted a survey in February that convinced fans that they were working on a Dead Rising game.
