Super worrying on the surface but now that it’s under Marvel, I bet they’ll pay for extensive reshoots where they can put back some of the ideas they came up with during the strike. I don’t think they’ll want to fuck this one up quality-wise. They’ll sooner go over budget.

Marvel movies always have reshoots, they’re going to screentest it when the strike ends and if it really sucks they’re going to fix it in reshoots (well, they’re gonna try lol). I agree that they should’ve waited until the strike ended, maybe they didn’t due to Hugh’s health?

Despite the obvious similarities, the events of Deadpool 3 are not identical to those of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. Since Disney bought Fox, the Deadpool movies have become part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The result could turn out differently now.
