The song is also used in another scene where Ryan Reynolds‘ Wade massacres a bunch of TVA agents. It was the lead single from the album and was written & produced by Kristian Lundin and Jake Schulze.

The song’s lyrics described the end of a relationship and was a commercial success when it was released. Bye Bye Bye peaked at number four on the US Billboard Hot 100. In 2001, it received a Grammy nomination for Record of the Year.
