Plastic surgeons in New York have revealed that many locals have approached them to perform surgery to make their n*pples look more like David Beckham’s as they were described to be of the ideal shape and size.

Apart from his skills as a footballer, David Beckham has also been known for his impeccable style and often-imitated outfits over the years. The former footballer has sported many iconic hairstyles that have been imitated to its limits by fans of the star. However, Beckham seems to have also inspired his fans to do something far more complicated than just styling their hair in a certain way.
Recently, plastic surgeons in New York revealed to the DailyMail that many men had approached them to make their n*pples look more like David Beckham’s. The Manchester United player reportedly had the perfect shape of n*pples, with an almond-like shape and perfect symmetry. Dr. Marc Everett, a Manhattan-based surgeon said,
“This is a thing, people want David Beckham’s n*pples…For example, a patient living in New York came to me on Friday… he said he always wanted his n*pples to look like David Beckham’s.”
Another surgeon named Dr. Elie Levine, who operates from the Upper East Side also reportedly noticed the trend and said, “It’s definitely a growing trend.” The doctors mentioned that it was a simple procedure that barely took a few hours and was painless enough for people to go through it and still go back to work on the same day.
Dr. Levine also mentioned that the trend was huge among not just football fans but also normal citizens who were aware of Beckham. He said,
“The patients who ask are often those from Europe and South America, but a lot are also average men who grew up in the US and are just cognizant [aware] of him…It is not the most common procedure I perform but it is definitely one that is trending upwards.”
The doctors also mentioned that the request has become so common that they have been performing the surgeries every two weeks.
Fans Spend Over $5,000 For N*pple Reduction Surgeries
David Beckham’s fashion style has often been imitated and trending since the late ‘90s and early 2000s. Be it his wacky use of the sarong or The Matrix-inspired outfit, the footballer has been mimicked and imitated loads of times. His famous Hoxton fin hairstyle became such a huge trend that many people follow it to this day.
But fans of the superstar footballer seem to have taken their desire to look like their icon to the next level. According to plastic surgeons Dr. Marc Everett and Dr Elie Levine, men who want to look more like Beckham have spent close to $5,000 for their n*pple reduction surgeries. The trend is reportedly the result of wearing tight-fit shirts through which the n*pples are seen.
The doctor described the surgery as a simple procedure that involved cutting the side of the n*pples and removing extra breast tissue and extra skin to make it look almond-shaped. Dr. Levine mentioned that the growing trend was seen in men who wanted to take care of themselves and were conscious about how they looked. He said to DailyMail,
“Men are continuously becoming more and more conscious of how they dress and how they appear. If they are wearing something with a tight-fitting form, that shows the nipples more prominently, that might make them uncomfortable. They don’t want the focus of what they are wearing, if they are wearing a form-fitting shirt, to be the nipple.”
Another Missouri-based surgeon, Dr. Deniz Sarhaddi reportedly mentioned that men were most likely to go under the knife for something chest-related. He mentioned that many bodybuilders who have had increased chest sizes due to supplement intake came in for n*pple reduction surgeries.
