Hayden Christensen once appeared in an interview alongside Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon wherein the actor talked about how it felt to wear the Darth Vader suit. Comparing people’s looks to the change in their behavior, Christensen loved wearing it.

“It’s an amazing costume to get put on. It’s an honor to get to wear it. But definitely the best part is just seeing people’s reaction, you know, when they see Vader. I mean, it’s very limited visibility but when someone does come across your field of vision, you see the sort of change in their demeanor, you know?”

He further continued,

“People who are usually very confident become a little more timid and shy. It’s good fun.”

The actor is one of the good people since he was replaced in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story but instead of complaining or leaving the franchise, Christensen complimented the film for being awesome.

In the early 2000s, Christensen portrayed the character of Darth Vader beautifully. In 2016, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released worldwide which featured Spencer Wilding as Darth Vader with stuntman Daniel Naprous used for the final sequences. Hayden Christensen talked about the film in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

“I wasn’t a part of any of those conversations about Rogue One. But I loved what they did with it. The character predates me, and it’s always been a collective effort in a lot of ways. I thought it was brilliant.”

The actor was recently seen in the 2023 series Ahsoka but is not currently associated with any upcoming projects as of now. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is available for rent on Apple TV+.
