They were a great duo who shared three daughters. Given their instant connection of getting married just after fourth months of romance, their relationship crumbled in 1998. Though there was a gap for a few years in her life when it came to love, it was soon filled by her third ex-husband, Ashton Kutcher.

Soon after divorcing her former husband, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore decided to focus on her children and took a step back from the acting industry. However, she returned to the industry and got another opportunity to enjoy love in her life.

She met her third beloved in 2003 at a casual dinner with friends and shortly after, they got involved in their romantic relationship.

The ABC News’ Diane Sawyer in a 2019 interview addressed her piece from her memoir, Inside Out in which she wrote,

“I was a 40-year-old who had a big life and Ashton’s adult life was just beginning – I didn’t see all that because I was inside of it. I just felt like a 15-year-old girl hoping somebody liked me.”

She shared that it was all true. Having broken up with her second husband and dealing with so much in her life that she somehow was looking for solace. Then, there came a point when she felt safe, referring to her relationship with Kutcher. Their relationship was not considered upright by the society due to the actor being younger than Moore, it didn’t stop them from getting together.

She eventually felt like a “15-year-old girl” inside who got another person that cherished her. She felt the ease, the electricity” in her relationship with the Your Place or Mine actor which is why she planned to take her relationship forward. The duo eventually tied the knot in 2005 which kicked off a new chapter in her life.

“I had money. He loved my children. It wasn’t something he feared. He seemed to be comfortable with the normality of the ex-husband. I mean, you know, I felt like I was not coming with baggage. I had trunks.” 

Though their relationship was sweet at first, it got complex later on. Back in 2010, rumors about Kutcher’s infidelity started swirling on the Internet which Moore later on discussed in her memoir. The former pair eventually split in 2011 with their divorce finalized two years later.

Later on, her memoir brought a shocking side of the duo’s relationship, but Kutcher didn’t acknowledge the rumors. Though he shared that he felt like a “failure” after divorcing Moore. However, he is now happy to start a new life with Mila Kunis.
