Demon Slayer will return with the Hashira Training arc in 2024. Apart from that, the anime franchise will also have a movie premiering in February. The movie will be a mixture of the Swordsmith Village arc’s end and the beginning of the Hashira Training arc. The fans are excited to see their favorite anime returning with two new things.

Demon Slayer creator Koyoharu Gotouge will be releasing a collection of short stories from their early days featuring characters like Kibutsuji Muzan and Tamayo. On top of that, the stories will be released in 2024 before fall. It is like a festive season for the Demon Slayer fans, which will last for the entire year.
Demon Slayer Will Release Short Stories Featuring Kibutsuji Muzan
Demon Slayer recently suffered from the fans raging over the new movie, The Roar of Victory. Fans wanted a proper film instead of a recap. The Hashira Training arc has a short runtime compared to other arcs, and it could be easily completed within a movie. Fans were unhappy after the movie details were revealed to them. But the announcement of the short stories changed the scenario.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba short stories will feature several short stories compiled into one. It will feature popular characters like Kibutsuji Kuzan and Tamayo. These stories are from Koyoharu Gotouge’s early days. It will also feature the early drafts of the mentioned characters. Scheduled to release in late 2024, fans will be able to enjoy the year-end with Koyoharu Gotouge’s early works.
Demon Slayer season 4 is yet to have an official release, but it is revealed to premiere sometime in Spring 2024. The franchise has carefully divided its three projects into segments to give the fans the utmost joy. While Kibutsuji Muzan and Tamayo’s names have been revealed, there might be several other important characters in those short stories.
Viz Media Will Publish The Short Stories
The Demon Slayer manga ended on May 18, 2020. Viz Media had the rights to publish the manga. So, after four years, the manga will be back with several short stories, and like always, Viz Media will have the publishing right. The announcement of the short stories was announced by Viz Media on their official X page.
The fans are pretty excited about the announcement and are eagerly waiting for an official release date. They showered the post with love reactions. It is after four years that Demon Slayer will return with original stories. It will be interesting to see what the past of the characters were like. Yoriichi Tsugikuni is one of the characters the fans are hoping to see in those stories.
For the moment, the fans are waiting for the Hashira Training arc in the anime. It paves the road to the final arc of anime. While it might be not a long season, it will be enough to keep the fans occupied until Viz Media is done with publishing the much-awaited short stories.
