A new update about the movie has also surfaced online which states that the movie has been rated R, which means that the movie will be a little more violent and thrilling than the previous releases. The movie will feature the final episode of the season and also mark the premiere of the fourth season.

While some fans will be happy with the movie getting an R rating, others will not be so thrilled about it as the rating means kids won’t be able to watch the movie. This may come as a shock to many fans as the earlier seasons and movies(except Demon Slayer: To the Swordsmith Village) were made available to every category of anime fans. However, the listing for the fourth season is still unclear.

Demon Slayer To the Hashira Training Gets R Rating

Demon Slayer will be released in theaters later this month, ahead of the Season 4 premiere later the following year. According to @kny_updates on X Before its premiere, the film Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training– has been rated R, indicating that it may contain mature content such as strong language, extremely graphic violence, drug abuse, and nudity.

As a result, to watch the film, children under the age of 17 must have an adult guardian or parent present. The film will feature both the hour-long end episode from the anime’s third season and the hour-long opening episode from Season 4. Fans Might Not Be Happy With Demon Slayer To the Hashira Training Getting an R Rating

Although the rating makes sense for the movie and probably for the upcoming series, it might not be what fans were hoping. The series is not expected to feature much more violence, battles, and thrills in the upcoming releases, but it would affect a large group of Demon Slayer fans who are under the age of 17.
