The Entertainment District Arc has kept viewers on their toes by skillfully weaving plot and action into one exciting season. This remains as one of the highest-rated chapters in the history of Demon Slayer. Here Gyutaro, alongside Daki, surely did prove to be the perfect anti-hero in shaping the outcome of this arc’s narrative.

The thought, nevertheless, is chilling to the bone: What if it had been another, even more ominous Upper Moon instead of Gyutaro? Just by that simple swap, an unsettling chaos would have been unleashed on our beloved heroes, Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke, to undergo a horrible fate in just a few episodes.

What If Doma Was In The Entertainment District Instead of Daki and Gyutaro?

Daki was always there in the Entertainment District, while Gyutaro was inside her, coming out only when she was in danger. Because of that, this dynamic inherently limited the potential scale of destruction, as Gyutaro was motivationally against the idea of killing civilians. But if Doma occupied that space, things would have been very different.

Also, the number of women in the Entertainment District would’ve been a source of a never-ending supply of targets, which definitely could increase the sheer strength of Doma.

However, Doma’s overwhelming strength could have acted as a double-edged sword for him: On one hand, Tengen would easily have been able to find him because of his ominous aura. And on the other, the battle would have come at a much more devastating cost, because demons like Doma didn’t really care about human life.

The fight would have been out of control, resulting in loss of lives of countless innocent people. This scenario is a grim reminder of the thin line that exists between demons and humans in the universe of Demon Slayer.

The Aftermath Of This Scenario Is Something That Demon Slayer Fans Would Surely Fear The Most

As suggested by this certain YouTube video, if Doma had been in the Entertainment District, it would have brought nothing but a disaster scene. His Blood Demon Art, which freezes the surroundings, is capable of taking all the lives around him. It is really frightening to think of Tanjiro, Zenitsu, and Inosuke fighting against this guy with all their might, only to turn into his victims.

Even with Tanjiro’s Demon Slayer Mark and the expertise of the fastest Hashira, Tengen Uzui, that team of four could still have crumbled against the overwhelming strength of Doma.

Such a loss would have had a devastating aftermath, resulting in Doma capturing and possibly handing over Nezuko to Muzan. This would eventually lead to finally opening the path for the Demon King to conquer the sun. A new age of fear and terror could have begun, plunging humanity into an eternal night. The forces of darkness would have then relentlessly hunted civilians, leaving humanity helpless against the unending terror. Knowing such a situation was fairly possible sends chills down the spine of people, underlining the fragility of existence in the Demon Slayer universe.
