Margot Robbie is one of the biggest youth stars in Hollywood, enjoying the success of her film Barbie. The film was released a few days back and has already become one of the biggest hits of the year. The actress has worked with Hollywood heartthrob Ryan Gosling in the film. Robbie has also with other A-listers in the industry including Brad Pitt, Will Smith, and others. However, the Bombshell stars heart only one WWE star.
Margot Robbie is loved by millions, for her gorgeous looks and acting skills. She revealed in an interview about the actor whom she loves the most.
Barbie star Margot Robbie revealed her Hollywood crush
Margot Robbie once appeared on the Chris Van Vliet show, for promoting her film, Babylon. The actress shared in the interview about her fascination with WWE. The actress shared that she is fond of WWE star John Cena. She even expressed her love for him by saying,
“He’s so worth the hype, he’s the best. I really love him.”
Robbie has worked with numerous mega stars of Hollywood like Will Smith in Suicide Squad, Brad Pitt in Babylon, Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street, and most recently with Ryan Gosling in Barbie. However, she has never expressed her love for any of them like she did for John Cena.
Margot Robbie offered John Cena a role in Barbie
Knowing the fact that Margot Robbie admires John Cena, it was not surprising to know she offered him a role in her movie. The movie was none other than her recent commercial blockbuster, Barbie.
In her interview with Chris Van Vliet for her movie Barbie, Robbie revealed how she approached the Trainwreck star for his part. She recalled an incident where she was going to pay her bill at a restaurant, and she was told Cena had paid on her behalf. When Robbie managed to find him, she asked him about his presence at the restaurant. After the initial conversation, she offered him the role of Merman in her film. To her surprise, the Fast X star agreed to the character.
Cena shared on The Today Show earlier this year when he happened to run into Robbie one day and pitched himself for a role in the film.
“I said, ‘I will pretty much do whatever you guys need, ’cause I really enjoy the movie.’ And they asked me if I wanted to be a merman. I said, ‘Yeah, sure.'”
Barbie was released on the 21st of July and currently running in theatres.
