There isn’t a lot of information regarding these DLC, but what we do know is that there is a potential new darkness subclass that may be getting released during The Final Shape, which has potentially been leaked as a red coloured subclass was leaked not long ago similar to how Strand was leaked which eventually came out to be true. There is also no information to suggest that there will be any more changes to the new light system in the next few updates, but more subclass aspects and abilities could be added over the next few updates.

As far as we know, there will be no changes to how Destiny‘s seasons will be managed as currently, they run on a system of releasing new story content each week until the seasonal story reaches a conclusion. This may change after The Final Shape, but for now, it looks like it will be staying the same for the next few DLCs that we will be receiving.

What do fans think about the future of Destiny 2?

Destiny 2 Fans Shouldn't Expect Much From The Upcoming Showcase

Over the past few years, Destiny 2 has slowly had a decline in players who have been logging on and enjoying the new stories that are brought each season, and this is because it is becoming quite similar and dull, causing a lot of fans to lose interest in the long-running franchise. Now that we are getting closer to the end of the Light and Darkness saga that has been going on for years in Destiny‘s story, many players are concerned about whether or not it will live up to the build-up that has been generating over the years.

So far, recent updates have been bringing some more life into Destiny 2, but the more long-time fans that have been here from the start are beginning to lose interest in Destiny 2, and they need something big to bring them back in. Many gamers are hoping that The Final Shape is the story that brings them back to Destiny 2 with a whole new take on the game, but there are some fans who believe that this will just be another season update with another map, a short story, and very repetitive end-game activities as things like power levels will still work the same as they are now.

What do you think about the upcoming showcase for Destiny 2? Will The Final Shape regain your interest in the long-running franchise, or are you done providing Destiny 2 with your time and money? Let us know in the comments what you think!
