Tom Cruise has done some amazing things for a film. On his appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Cruise also mentioned that he worked for a year to develop different screams for Cage’s death scenes. The actor has multiple death scenes in the film, one of which sees him get run over by a truck.

We kept working on the different screams because it had to be a little bit like that kind of sound that you just don’t want to hear yourself scream that way. ‘Did I really scream like that?’

Cruise’s scream after the accident sounds so unlike him and is one of the most hilarious parts of the film. The teen-like scream is only made more funny by co-star Bill Paxton’s hilarious line delivery.

It is so hot in there and the camera crew are bumping into us…people are miserable…And Tom with his insatiable positivity and I can just see it starting to unravel…I remember looking a him and he was like, ‘Guys, please roll’. And I just looked at him and went, ‘This sucks’. And he looks at me and he goes, ‘It’s a challenge’.

Blunt mentioned that she tried to get him to say that the day sucked and break his spirit even further but it never happened. Cruise mentioned that he would not stop complaining if he ever started.
