Participating in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Turkey’s Yusuf Dikec won the silver medal in the mixed team air pistol event, along with his partner Sevval Illayda Tarhan. Now, Yusuf Dikec has become a sensation on the Internet thanks to an iconic photograph of him going viral.

The 2024 Paris Olympics are in full swing with athletes from all over the world competing in various competitions and winning medals for their respective countries. While some rejoice, others unfortunately return home empty-handed. Turkey’s Yusuf Dikec falls in the former category.
Competing in the 10m mixed air pistol event, Dikec and his partner managed to secure the second spot on the podium. They were defeated by Serbia’s Zorana Arunović and Damir Mikec 16-14. Despite winning the gold, all the buzz on the Internet seems to surround the silver medalist, Dikec.
After a badass picture of him taking his shot went viral on social media, Dikec became a hot topic of discussion amongst the netizens. Even those who aren’t following the Olympics were impressed by his casual approach to the competition.

While his competitors wore specialized gear for their turn, Dikec walked into the arena with prescription glasses and regular earplugs for ear protection. The photo of him taking the shot with his hand in his pocket managed to impress people like never before.
It looks like Keanu Reeves needs to cast the 51-year-old in his next John Wick movie and get him on his team.

Serbia might have won the gold medal but Dikec won the Internet by looking like he walked out of bed and into the Olympic arena to singlehandedly deliver the most badass shot we have seen.

While Dikec is not a hitman, he is a retired non-commissioned officer of the Turkish Gendarmerie. He began sport shooting all the way back in 2001 and has won a ton of medals since then including 5 golds at the European Championships.
The man is truly a force to reckon with!
