Reeves was excited about Warner Bros coming up with Constantine sequel

I kept asking almost every year. I’d be like, ‘Can I please?’ [and] they’d be like, ‘No, no!’ … “So it’s exciting. It’s almost like an open playground that we can hopefully cook something up and play in, and I guess get out of the playground and prepare a meal. But I’m looking forward to it, and hopefully, it can happen.”

Although it’s unconfirmed, fans are still upset with Warner Bros canceling Reeves’ sequel

That was a movie they greenlit in desperation because they weren’t sure the direction of DC her and needed to have something post-2023,” Walsh explained on X.

However, on a recent note, director Francis Lawrence debunked the rumors of Warner Bros canceling Constantine 2, by sharing the film’s progress. Despite KC Walsh’s reports, the director’s confirmation has relieved fans as they have found hope to look forward to. Constantine 2 production is set to resume after the Thanksgiving holiday.
