Johnson has a rather complicated marriage history. He was married to his first wife Dany Garcia from 1997 until 2007 when the couple announced their split. However, the couple remained friends, in fact, business partners, and has been Johnson’s manager since 2008. That relationship took a toll on Johnson’s life. Reportedly, his second marriage almost didn’t happen due to his relationship with his first wife.

Dwayne Johnson And Dany Garcia have been quite open about their relationship. The ex-couple has clearly stated that their divorce was the result of mutual agreement. Further, the duo has mutual respect for each other. In fact, Johnson and Gracia founded their production company Seven Bucks Productions in 2012. In 2014, Garcia married bodybuilder Dave Rienzi, who has been the personal trainer of Johnson.
Following their divorce, the Black Adam actor told CNN that he had no capacity to stop what was going on at the moment.
“I made a lot of mistakes. I didn’t have the ability or the capacity to stop for the moment and say, ‘God, I’m really screwing up. Let’s talk about this,” Johnson said.
“I can’t tell you what it was then. I can tell you today that I value our relationship. When I can love you, I can really love you, whether it’s my ex-wife, girlfriend, or my little girl, or my guys, my buddies. Whatever it is, I value that relationship.”
Garcia also had her say in this, in 2016, she told Marie Claire that the ex-couple managed to maintain their professional relationship.
“Some people go through separation and there’s no conversation, and it’s a dark time, and one person goes off, but that was never us,” Gracia said.
“We went on this journey together. We were going to change the manner of the relationship together. We spoke every day, and multiple times a day—not only on business, but on what was happening personally.”
“We spent over a year looking at the things that didn’t work i our marriage, the reasons why, making sure those elements had been cleared and taken care of, and that we had a real understanding of respect,” she added.
Clearly, there’s no marital feud between the ex-couple as they have stayed close to each other for almost 15 years after the divorce.
Dwayne Johnson Took a While to Marry Lauren Hashian
After his divorce from Gracia, the 51-year-old started dating music producer and singer, Lauren Hashian. As per reports, the couple dated the same year of his divorce from his ex-wife. Johnson revealed that it was an instant connection.
“Within 30 seconds, I thought, Wow, this girl’s stunning. At the time, I was going through my breakup with Dany, and she was just coming off a big breakup too. Ironically, when you’re not looking for something, the power of the universe kind of takes over,” Johnson said.
In 2015 the couple had their daughter Jasmine together. Later, their second daughter Tiana was born. Johnson was amazed at his new family. Speaking to People in 2021, the actor revealed Hashian’s amazing parenting during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I would marvel at Lauren. We would conduct [at-home school] classes; she would be the teacher, and I sat there crisscross-applesauce with my daughters, and within five minutes I was like, “God, I am so tired.” And my wife was going and going and going,” Johnson said.
Further, the actor revealed that his relationship with the singer has been comforting, they would fight but resolve within minutes.
“There’s a comfort. We may argue, but truly within 10 minutes we pull ourselves out of it and find some humor in the things that we just said. Mainly the things that I just said.”
Johnson and Hashian got married in 2019. Johnson later revealed that he was reluctant to marry again due to how his first marriage ended. However, Johnson is a happy man now, spending a lot of time with his daughters and family.
