Jonathan Majors is in a bit of a pickle with the charges of allegedly assaulting women. This has turned many fans against him and even actors who know him have been deeply disappointed with the fear of these charges turning out to be true. The arrest has already made fans wonder about his position as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universe but that has very quickly become an issue for another time.
The actor was supposed to be part of an ad campaign which will no longer be happening for him. He has since been removed from the campaign altogether, especially because the ad was for the US Army. The actor’s box office record has been extraordinary with both Ant-Man and the Wasp and Creed III releasing side by side, bringing massive fame for Majors, making this news even more of a shocker.
Jonathan Majors Has Been Kicked Out Of An US Army Ad Campaign
Post his arrest, no big franchise has taken a step regarding his role, perhaps following the concept of ‘innocent until proven guilty.’ The US Army is the first to take a step against the actor. Jonathan Majors was supposed to be part of an ad campaign for the US Army which has since been put on hold.
“The U.S. Army is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors and we are deeply concerned by the allegations surrounding his arrest. While Mr. Majors is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete.”
The ad campaigns have been put on hold for the moment. A spokesperson from the Army Enterprising Marketing Office, Laura DeFrancisco confirmed that although he has not been fired from the campaign, the promotion and shoot for it will only continue once Majors has been proven innocent by the Court of Law.
Jonathan Majors Future In The Hollywood Industry
This is not the first time that an actor or a big-name celebrity has been accused of a crime and has been arrested for it. While in some cases these allegations turn out to be false, such as the case of Johnny Depp; in some cases, the allegations do turn out to be true, such as the case of Harvey Weinstein. If Jonathan Majors is proven to be guilty of assaulting his girlfriend, then he will be facing a good amount of jail time.
With a career that would be jeopardized, his deal with Marvel will surely suffer. However, if the actor is not guilty, then it would depend a lot on how long the case goes on. His career would be impacted a lot based on the opinions of the people purely because the Hollywood industry is run massively based on how the audience views a person.
Fans Stand Divided By Jonathan Majors’ Ad Campaign
Upon learning of the step taken by the US Army, fans are split between whether or not they support him. Some agree with what they have chosen to do, respecting the idea of how he could still be innocent while still managing a way to keep themselves away from any bad coverage if he is proven not to be.

We should've learned from the Heard and Depp case that we shouldn't blindly believe every allegation from supposed victims, until solid proof is offered.
He could be guilty, and he could be innocent, but we shouldn't be taking either side.

Others believe that the actor should have very well been fired. He is being compared with the other actors who went through something similar. Ezra Miller roaming around freely is the biggest concern for fans as he has been proven guilty and still, no step is being taken for him.
