Disney will be hosting an upcoming expo featuring new projects from various franchises and rumors that the brand is not holding back with content. Leaks suggest that the company will capitalize on its partnership with Epic Games with an exclusive category dedicated to Disney-owned properties.

The developers piggybacked on the success of Marvel Studios’ Deadpool and Wolverine and featured new cosmetic items inspired by the film. It would be unwise to think that Disney would not count on the gaming industry to highlight this year’s D23 could be the right step to promote specific franchises.
There is no telling what other surprises will be revealed in a few hours. But the gaming community is already anticipating that Fortnite will play a major role in how the company will utilize its major franchises. Perhaps having a dedicated tab on the item shop indicates that it will be occasionally updated.
This Year’s D23 Could Establish a Permanent Fortnite Marvel Store
