By saying that they are associated with an upcoming film, the media firm is making false promises to their legends. An insider from the Disney media organization came out and criticized Disney for the way things are currently being run.
Disney wants to Silence the Disney Legends
Disney Legends is a hall of fame created by Disney that honors various individuals for their accomplishments in the media industry. Disney Legends include celebrities such as Johnny Depp, Robert Downey Jr., Hans Zimmer, Idina Menzel, and many more. According to claims, Disney is attempting to silence their Disney Legends by asking them to sign a contract. They are making the legends sign a contract for an upcoming endeavor.
As soon as the legends sign the contract, they are bound by it and will not be able to speak out against the media company or the way it operates. Many Disney icons have signed contracts. In this contract, Disney is promising them projects with the media firm, but it is rumored that Disney’s strategy is to sideline them and prevent them from criticizing the company.

Disney Legends are made to believe that they are going to be part of a big project
Reportedly, it is being said that Disney has found this way as the best way to control what Disney legends will say about their mass media firm. Scooper, who is a Disney Legends pro and an insider, said,
“Disney, we are told, has been going to Disney Legends, people who worked with the company for a very long time, have extremely storied careers, names that you would know, and Disney is hiring these individuals or has been hiring these individuals over the last number of years. Hiring them for one purpose
He further added,
“Let’s say that it’s a project that they have brought them on and those Legends believe they’re going to be a part of doing something big, something tremendous. And then the company, we are told, has been sidelining those Legends that they don’t actually end up working on the project at all even if they are credited.”
Reportedly, they also said that “Disney using these contracts simply as a way to silence those who made the company what it is.”
Disney gives the Legends the impression that they are back in the game and have a firm grip on the next projects. But this isn’t true; it’s just their technique of keeping their thoughts quiet. Because some Disney Legends are opposed to the firm’s functioning, they do not want any Legends to make any statements that will undermine the firm in any manner. All these Disney legends who are being sidelined have worked with Disney for years and decades.
