But it looks like they will have to keep waiting because as per Heat magazine (via The Mirror) the singer isn’t interested in dating the Mission Impossible star. In fact, as per the outlet’s sources, Shakira wants Cruise to stop flirting with her.
Regarding the interaction between the two at the Miami Grand Prix, the source stated that the pop singer was just being friendly. The site also said, “She doesn’t want to embarrass or upset him, but there’s no attraction or romance on her part – she was just being friendly. She’s flattered but not interested”. It was Cruise who allegedly described her as his dream woman and was extremely interested in pursuing her.
Some reports said that he was desperate for a date with the hitmaker. But Shakira has her priorities clear. The magazine states that she wants to focus on her family and isn’t thinking about dating anyone right now. Marca described the situation by saying, “Some men never get the message. Just because a woman is being friendly towards you, does not mean she desperately wants you.”

This year, he is probably looking to repeat that magic with Mission Impossible 7. But even with all the box office wins, he seemingly can’t find his perfect woman.
However, he hasn’t given up even after getting rejected by Shakira. The magazine stated that Cruise is struggling to find the right person for him. However, the actor has high standards and isn’t going to settle in any way. The site reported that it was suggested that the star should try changing his approach which isn’t working, at least it didn’t for Shakira.
