Speaking with The Daily Mail, The Blind Side actor Quinton Aaron told his side of the story. The actor admitted he never met Oher while they were filming, but only four years after the movie was released. The Tuohys, though, visited the set numerous times:

I don’t know personally anything about this, I learned when I saw the articles yesterday. But having met both parties, you know, obviously my heart breaks for the situation. I was under the assumption, like everybody, that the family was good all these years. So, it was just heartbreaking to see that article, and my prayers go out to everyone.”

He defended co-star Sandra Bullock, who portrayed Leigh Anne Tuohy in the film, against bashers who trolled her online:

Sandra [Bullock] just suffered a loss and everything, so I’m pretty sure she’s probably trying to stay out of the [spotlight] and just handle her situation as best she knows how. I heard some pretty disturbing things people were saying about her, and I’m not behind that. Leave her alone. Don’t come for my mama. I’m six-foot-eight, 400-plus pounds, and you don’t want those problems.”

Quinton Aaron also noted that he does not blame anyone for the situation, but he suggests that all parties relevant to the case should be involved in the making of the story from start to finish, as to avoid the problem from happening again in the future.

Michael Oher Reveals Being Tricked By His Adoptive Parents To Make Money

Michael Oher’s 14-page petition to the Shelby County court in Tennessee dictates that Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy deceived him into signing conservatorship documents three months after he turned 18. As a teenager, he believed it was an adoption paper, but it turns out that he was reportedly giving the Tuohys permission to make business transactions in his name.

The NFL star also admitted not getting any money from The Blind Side, a movie adaptation of his own life. Apparently, the Tuohys made millions out of the project, which earned over $309 million against a budget of $29 million.

Aaron’s depiction of Oher’s life in the movie was very different. If The Blind Side production team only gave the actor and the athlete a chance to talk, it would probably yield a different result. The Tuohys have denied the allegations and claimed that they would feel devastated at the thought of making money off their children.
