Going experimental with phase 4, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has received mixed reviews for many of its productions. SheHulk: Attorney at Law and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness were some of the most controversial upsets from the studio.

On the other hand, it saw some success with shows like Moon Knight and WandaVision and in movies like Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings. With phase 4 of MCU at an end, it seems to be a mix of hits and misses.

Where did She-Hulk go wrong?

A topic covered by hundreds of video essays on YouTube, a common element seems to be the writing and the CGI. Many still find the character unrelatable, as many of her troubles arise from external influences than her quirks.

Moreover, the show has been inundated with cameo appearances, with the Hulk basically passing on the torch in the first episode and the appearance of Emil Blonsky/Abomination and Wong making up the rest.

The promise of Daredevil making an appearance also did not make the situation better for the show as he didn’t show up until the eighth episode. This made many Daredevil fans upset as they only watched SheHulk: Attorney at Law for his return to the screen.

Was She-Hulk better or Moon Knight?

Fans have been debating for quite some time, as to which MCU show was its best, with Loki and Moon Knight being top contenders. When asked on Twitter which was the best show, fans were conflicted between SheHulk: Attorney at Law and Moon Knight.

Despite both the shows breaking MCU’s mold, most found Moon Knight more palatable. Its earlier episodes were praised for their non-linear storytelling and for introducing a unique storyline. Its IMDb rating currently stands at 7.3.

Moon Knight was the second MCU TV series to receive a mature (16+) rating overseas.

Many of the tweets supporting Moon Knight referred to audience ratings of both shows as She-Hulk‘s rating stood at 35%, whereas the former was soaring at 90%. Some even found the comparison hilarious, calling SheHulk: Attorney at Law “green garbage”.
