After an incident back in 2003, fans have been pondering over the actor’s sexuality. In 2003, The Greatest Showman actor portrayed the character of an openly gay singer-songwriter called Peter Allen in the Broadway musical The Boy from Oz. While portraying the role, the Logan actor shared a kiss with his male co-star Jarrod Emick. The photos of the two actors went viral and people started to question Jackman’s sexuality ever since.

Things got so intense that people whispered that Hugh Jackman was actually a closeted individual and that his marriage to Deborra-Lee Furness was a ruse to keep things hush-hush. Jackman was quoted saying,

Jackman’s wife Deborra-Lee Furness also had to defend their marriage but laughed off all the rumors.
