New Plot in Daredevil: Born Again

During an interview with i, Daredevil actor Charlie Cox says that “as many have assumed”, the name Born Again was most probably given as its return following the cancellation of the Netflix series and states, “I don’t think anyone should read into the name as to the kind of stories that we’re going to tell”.

He later also adds that just because the title matches the plot of the Marvel Comics story written by Frank Miller and David Mazzucchelli in 1986, the fans shouldn’t assume it will follow the route.

In November 2018, Netflix canceled the series after three seasons, though the character will be available for later MCU projects, Cox was disheartened by the news, especially because he was excited about the fourth season. Following the cancellation, fans from all over the globe signed a petition amasses over 300,000 signatures.

Daredevil: Born Again will be far from a one-to-one adaptation of Miller and Mazzucchelli’s Born Again. It is more of a remix and created in such a way that fits in with what Netflix’s Daredevil and the crossover limited series The Defenders had already established.

His extraordinary agility and quick response and reflex can only prove his prowess on the battlefield.

His night activities eventually lead him to face Wilson Fisk and he also teamed up with the Defenders to face the Hand Organisation when they successfully resurrected and weaponized his past lover Elektra Natchios. He then later helped Peter Parker in a legal case showing his extraordinary prowess in the legal field.
