Why Did Nicholas Hoult Lose The Batman Role

During a recent interview with GQ, Nicholas Hoult was asked about his desire to play the Caped Crusader, to which he responded by saying that he would have loved to play the part. He also praised Matt Reeves’ creative vision for the film and Rober Pattinson’s portrayal of the character.

“Of course, I’m sure if you ask most people, they’ll tell you what they want to do. I think Matt Reeves’ ideas were fantastic and he made a brilliant movie. And I also think that Rob [Robert Pattinson] did an amazing job with the character and I loved seeing him in it. So I don’t think I would have done as good a job as him ultimately.”
