Helldivers 2 can lead to a change of heart in a man, and the community recently witnessed it. Interestingly, it was the man who stood by his decisions, no matter how vague they were. Dr DisRespect is a YouTuber and a debarred Twitch streamer who also happens to have his own gaming studio that is developing a game that he believes will blow away Call of Duty.

After not being able to withstand the view of Helldivers 2 even for a couple of minutes, Mr. Guy Beahm finally agreed to give the game a shot. Surprisingly (actually not), he loved the game, as can be seen in his YouTube stream.

The fight for democracy has officially been joined by Dr DisRespect, and he seemed excited to be in there with fellow Helldivers. In his latest stream on the sharing platform YouTube after playing the game, he said,

They’re doing a lot of cool stuff here, that’s very responsive, nice. I love experiencing new mechanics that are like part of the second to second combat. Like I am running right here, boom. I love that.

In its latest update, players received a new ‘Cutting Edge‘ Warbond that has given the democracy fighters some new toys to play with. More weapons and armor sets may help them ward off the forces trying to invade Super Earth. Doc might need them if he’s really enjoying the game.

It really comes as a surprise that he is into Helldivers 2 after his recent comments about the game.

However, he was intrigued enough to play it following several requests. This may spark a new controversy surrounding him; again, this is not new for Mr. Beahm.

The Game Appears to Have Some Charm

Dr. Disrespect didn't want to play the game initially.

Already on its way to becoming one of the biggest entries of the year, Helldivers 2 has certainly made a name among the fans. Even the actor who portrays the role of Super Earth spokesperson, Craig Lee Thomas, can’t get enough of the game. As an active participant, he might have gotten hold of every trick of the trade in this fight for democracy.

Furthermore, players are unable to figure out which of the game’s latest upgrade rules are harder, fiery planetary hazards, or the deadly laser-firing rifles capable of melting everything. For now, it appears like the sickle has caught some attention from the players.

As of now, details on future updates are thin on the ground, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have any idea. It’s just that the information has been put forth by less official sources across the internet. Until the official announcements regarding them arrive, players can simply speculate about them.

Do you think Dr DisRespect actually likes the game? Tell us in the comments.
